When it came time to redesign milesdavis.com, Legacy Recordings wanted to add some animation to his imagery. Taking from the success of the ambient color background animation of the passion pit site, We knew it would be a great solution to have another flash background behind the html content. I designed the the flash piece to bring in black and white photos and colorize them with 3 color gradients that continually cycle from top to bottom.
